In Loving Memory of Gale Phillips
March 22, 1962 - April 8, 2021
Gale will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful mother to Jean-Luc and a good friend to all who knew her.
The Forest Lawn Club held a special place in Gale’s Heart.
She had very fond memories of growing up and being involved with The Forest Lawn Boys and Girls Club. Herself and many of her life long friends spend countless hours at the Club participating in the many activities that the club offered. The Forest Lawn Club gave Gale the opportunity to do many things, one of which was learning to ski. This is something that Gale loved to do and continued to do up until a couple of years ago.
Gale participated in the summer program working at the Stampede Grounds through the Calgary Stampede collecting garbage. This was a long 10 days, and not very glamorous each year but it was a great summer job for her. She also spent time at Camp Adventure and then went through the Leadership Program.
Some of what she learned while at the Forest Lawn Club, she carried with her through her life.
