Together, we raised just over $1 million net, with every dollar going directly to support Calgary’s youth and families affected by homelessness, poverty, mental health barriers, and intergenerational trauma.

A Story of Impact: Dillin’s Journey
Dillin’s story is one of resilience, growth, and generational change. Growing up surrounded by uncertainty in the child welfare system, Dillin first came to Trellis as a youth in search of safety and support. Cycling between shelters, he found structure and stability through the Raven program, which offers transitional housing and wraparound services for vulnerable youth.
With time, trust, and guidance, Dillin began to rebuild his life. Trellis continued to support him through the Sustainable Families program as he and his partner Gigi worked to create a stable, loving home for their young daughter.
Today, Dillin is thriving as a devoted father, partner, and role model. His daughter is safe, loved, and well-supported, breaking the cycle of instability he experienced. Dillin’s journey shows how Trellis meets people where they are, adapts to their evolving needs, and helps create brighter futures for generations to come.
