Join Trellis to learn the basics of foster care and why people should foster with Trellis.

We’ll answer questions like:  

• What is foster care? 

• What is the goal of foster care? 

• What is the role of a foster parent?  

• How long does the foster parent application process take? 

• Why should you foster with Trellis? What are the perks and supports that you receive when you foster with an agency like Trellis? 

And we’ll debunk common myths of foster care like:  

• Foster parents must have a big house. 

• Foster care is only for people that do not want biological kids.  

•  Only married people can foster. 

The information session will take place at the Trellis Bowness Youth Club. Sessions are about 30 minutes in length with time for questions or inquiries from the participants.
