In-Home Family Support is an intervention program that works to ensure children of all ages are safe and well-nurtured in their homes. Our support team works to prevent, reduce or eliminate factors that can put the safety and well-being of children at risk, while helping identify strengths and build the skills needed to improve communication, address problematic behaviours, manage crises and enhance overall family function.

In this program you receive customized supports to help tackle a wide range of challenges at home, including:

  • Parenting

  • Household management

  • Blended family challenges

  • Parent-teen conflict

  • Family violence

  • Life skills and decision making

  • Attachment

Therapeutic Access

Therapeutic Access is one stream of our In-Home Family Support program that offers a 10 to 12 week program for parents of young children ages of 0 to 12 with Children’s Services involvement.

During visitation sessions, we work on developing sensitive parenting skills and nurturing, secure parent-child relationships. Our therapeutic coaches will help prompt, queue, model and teach behaviours that will help you increase engagement, build structure and maintain healthy relationships with your children.
