A New Space for Families to Flourish

We are excited to share the opening of our new purposefully designed community space in Southwest Calgary!

This new hub location, now home to the Southwest Calgary Family Resource Network (FRN) is a welcoming place where families can access a range of services and supports.

This space is so much more than just a building. It’s a place where families can connect, children can grow, and parents and caregivers can find the resources they need to nurture their families. From programs that encourage healthy child development to parent workshops and one-on-one support, this hub is designed with the needs of the community in mind.

On September 17th, we celebrated our grand opening of the space, welcoming families, community members, and supporters to tour the new space, meet our dedicated team, and learn more about the services that will be offered here. Courtenay Hick, our Chief Operating Officer, expressed our excitement and gratitude:

This space has been thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse needs of families and youth, offering a range of supports and programs that nurture strong, positive relationships.

We know that investing in families today creates the foundation for a flourishing community tomorrow, and this new location allows us to better serve and empower the families we work with.

Alongside our valued Family Resource Network spoke partners — Big Brothers Big Sisters, Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association, and Kindred — we’ll be able to provide crucial services that strengthen family resilience and well-being, at no cost to those who need it most.
