Art Contest: Gibson Garden Little Free Library

Your art could be the design for a public mural to be installed on the Gibson Garden Little Free Library!

Download the colouring sheet and add your artwork for a chance to be featured on the back of the Trellis’ Renfrew Club little free library.  The gorgeous little free library and beautiful landscaping were donated last year by Gibson Energy as part of their commitment to youth mental health.  The Gibson Garden can be found on the north east corner of the grounds at 731 13 Ave NE.

One young artist will have their drawing or painting featured on the back of the little free library, and runners up will win great prizes.  Please include a message about why it is important to help others, and adults are welcome to help the kids in their lives submit an entry!

The competition is open to anyone ages 6 through 24, living in Calgary. Entries will be judged based on a combination of the colours, creativity and the accompanying written message.

Gibson Energy is Trellis’ Youth Mental Health Champion. Gibson Energy’s commitment to the social and emotional learning of young people and meeting youth in crisis where they are at, is helping kids build the confidence and resilience needed to manage life’s challenges and thrive.
