The North Glenmore Ice Trail offers a free and fun destination for Calgarians during the winter. You’ll be able to skate over 730 meters of connected track through North Glenmore park as well as an attached skating rink. Benches, picnic areas and portable washrooms available on site.

Meals on Wheels Holiday Cookie Kitchen
Pop by the Cookie Kitchen, which supports Calgary Meals on Wheels, to decorate your own holiday cookie. Located next to Santa’s Enchanted Forest on the main floor.

36th Annual Lions Festival of Lights
Enjoy Calgary’s largest free drive-by Christmas Lights showcase!
When: Open 5:30 pm to 12 am every night until January 8

City of Calgary - Outdoor Rinks
Drop in at different rinks located throughout the city. Rinks are open dependent on the weather and ice conditions. Don’t own a pair of skates? Check locations for rentals!
Enjoy a display of over one million lights! Walk or drive through the community to see festive lights adorning parks, trees, show homes, the Legacy clock tower, and more! While you’re there, you can also drop by the two public skating rinks in the community,
